Majority of you probably think of mango, and think of a delicious fruit platter in high summer, or a delicious smoothie – but that’s about it! Thanks to our delicious frozen mango pieces, we are now able to enjoy mango all-year round and in many more, versatile ways.
Below we’ve listed some of our favourite ways to use mango that are different, exciting and will make you want to jump straight in the kitchen.
We are loving this un-convential combo of fruit + salad! It adds a sweet flavor to your meal, and makes your boring old garden salad a little bit fancy. We love the combination of mango, cashew & chicken salad for something a little more substantial.
Mango Chicken Bake
We got this amazing idea from Cooking on the Weekends, and we’ve just never seen anything quite like it! The recipe bakes chicken in a coconut and mango sauce, which tastes absolutely divine! A great way to change up your traditional roast chook that the whole family will enjoy.
The perfect accompaniment to tacos, burritos, or quesadillas. It goes so well with Mexican flavours and is so easy to re-create. The fruity flavor mixed with the spices will have your taste buds praising you.
Coconut & Mango Chicken Curry
Another great way to spice up an easy mid-week meal that is vibrant in both color and flavor. Paired with some warm rice, this delightful meal is hearty and warming for the whole family to enjoy.
Mango Energy Bites
They’re all the rage, and will help you re-fuel on the go. Energy bites, or protein balls are an amazing snack to nibble on in between work meetings or gym workouts. The mango makes them fresh and lighter on the tounge (the hardest part is eating just one!)
